churn with a mission

The San Juan Capistrano Mission was built in 1776. while visiting it on April 9,2008, I took a photo inside one of the buildings, which displayed this MILK CHURN on a hearth with wood logs. I thought it made an interesting painting. To think someone actually used it to churn butter 232 years ago.
